in my notes i wrote:
Equitable Conversion
Legal Title - "all you have is the stick called title"
Equitable Title - "you have all the other sticks"
so as long as one of the questions on the test tomorrow, each of which counts for a full percentage of my overall semester GPA, asks "which sticks do you have if you have equitable title?" i will be just fine.
also in my notes i wrote:
"presumably the vendee did not intend to die."
lawyers are not funny people. no they are not. i cannot wait for 12 hours from now. i just hope i'm not crying then.

a series of haiku for my baby brother
my birthday brother:
friends' potluck contributions
prove you're the coolest
if i was coming
i'd bring my famous salsa
and guacamole
alas, i'm far off
buried in boring textbooks
and cannot attend
instead of presents(ce?)
you get the only blog post
i've written in weeks
so to you this day
i wish blessings and laughter
and learning and love
and that this next year
would bring your optimism
to full fruition
